A beautiful polished half of a 120 million year old ammonite fossil from the Ural mountians in Russia set in 14kt gold filled wire. Instead of being filled with calcite as are most of the fossil ammonites, these shell are filled with thousand of tiny pyrite crystals. The pendant is enhanced with a few hematite beads and one sparkling 4mm white topaz. A most unusual and interesting pendant shown front and back.
